Home Visits - Paramedic Visiting Service

Doctor's bag All daytime visits will usually be carried out by the Paramedic Visiting Service.

A doctor will triage all Home Visit requests before deciding on the best course of action, which may be to send the Paramedic Visiting Service, a GP, or the emergency services depending on the problem.

We share a team of paramedics with the other Fleet practices.

Our paramedics are Dan and Carl. They wear a 'Salus Medical Services' uniform and carry an ID badge.

If appropriate, any one of our GPs may carry out the visit. We do not send our Locum GPs on patient visits.

Home visits are available for patients who are unable to come to the surgery because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery. If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:00am if you require a home visit
