Appointments -

Important information for patients about all appointments -

We are using a total triage system for GP's, using phone, video and email, except where absolutely necessary. We ask that you follow current government rules at all times. Stay home unless travel is essential to prevent further transmission.

Crondall New Surgery has taken steps to protect our staff and patients from Coronavirus with the use of a triage system for all doctors appointments. Our aim is to reduce the footfall through the surgery to minimise the risk of spreading the virus, in-line with national guidance. We have worked very hard 'behind the scenes' to make this happen. We  have new screens at the dispensary, we have reconfigured our waiting rooms, interal rooms and workstations to allow us to social distance inside the building,  and we are using PPE and enhanced infection control measures in all face-to-face consultations.

DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS: All appointments will initially be on the telephone. If you have a GP appointment booked, this will be a telephone call, please stay home and the doctor will call you as near to the allocated time as they can. The GP will do all they can to help you over the phone – however, should they need to see you face to face for an examination, you will be invited to the surgery and given an appointment for review but you need to wait outside or in your car until your appointment time, and enter the premises at your appointment time please to reduce footfall and maintain social distancing in the waiting room. You need to wear a mask.

NURSES APPOINTMENTS: We are carrying out nursing procedures as normal. Some annual reviews will be completed via telephone call.

STILL UNABLE TO DO: Spirometry, Travel vaccinations.
