Test Results

x-ray-resultsPlease call between 12.00am and 3.30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. Receptionists are not clinically trained to give out the results and cannot verify patient identity over the telephone. Therefore they may take your details and advise that a doctor will review your results and call you back if there is any action needed. We only release test results to the person to whom they relate, unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you have your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you are advised to do so.

Online services can now allow you access to parts of your patient record, including test results. There is a form to complete and photographic ID must be shown in person to access this service. Please note: only test requests made via the NHS, ordered from our practice and processed locally will be viewable and we cannot guarantee this in all circumstances. Please call and ask for the practice administrator to get the necessary forms to do this.
